Since many of the ears are seasonal or limited to a special promotion, there is always something new to see each time you go. One drawback to this option is that you may not feel very unique in the Park. It can be a bummer to search the Park to find those perfect ears, only to realize that there are hundreds of other people wearing the same exact thing. Option 2: Buying Disney Branded Mickey Ears on Ebay

Getting your ears before you go to the Parks can be a good money saving opportunity. Lets face it, taking your whole family to a Disney park isn't cheap, so any opportunity to save money is great. Generally, the Parks charge around $25.00 for your standard Mickey Ear headbands (plus applicable taxes). Finding Mickey Ears online can be much cheaper, tax free and you have the option to buy designs from past years or different seasons. This is a big plus if you want to stand out in the crowd with a more unique look during your trip. Interestingly, the best place to buy Mickey Ears online isn't through Disney's stores but on eBay. People will buy up end-of-season bulk inventory and resell it on eBay. This means more variety for you and better prices, though do beware that some of the more rare Mickey Ears can get quite expensive. Option 4: Make Your Own Custom Mickey Ears

And finally, making your own Mickey Ears is the last option. I know what you're thinking... "Seriously? Make my own?!?" But don't worry, It's actually much easier than you might think, and in the end you will have completely unique ears that will really stand out in the crowd. Melissa wanted a pair of subtle Winnie The Pooh ears in baby blue, but that just doesn't exist, so the only option was to make it herself. I've started making my own ears for the last couple trips to Disneyland and the amount of people who compliment you and ask where you bought them makes standing in lines and wandering around the parks even more fun.  A quick trip to the craft store, some cool fabric and a glue gun is all you really need to get started.
