Disneyland Mickey Ears Buying Guide – Where to buy in the Parks
Disneyland Mickey Ears Buying GuideBuying a pair of Mickey Ears in the Disney Parks is an adventure in itself that every Disney fan should experience. The shops can sometimes feel crowded and out of the way when you are just browsing, but when you have a purpose in mind, the shopping experience can be a fun and rewarding adventure.
So, with that in mind, here is our Disneyland Mickey Ears Buying Guide that lists our favorite spots to snag some Mickey Ears inside the Park.
#5 Main Street USAThis is an obvious choice since Main Street USA is the largest shopping area in Disneyland. While large can sometimes mean overwhelming, it also gives you a good overview of what is available at a quick glance. The main shopping boutiques offer a huge selection of Mickey Ear headbands and caps and also have an area where you can get your ears personalized. This is a must stop area for anybody in the market for Mickey Ears. It's also a great way to get out of the heat during those warm summer months.
#4 Adventureland Bazaar - AdventurelandThe Adventureland Bazaar is located directly across the Jungle Cruise ride and is the shopping hub for Adventureland. They have a great assortment of jungle themed merchandise, including those amazing Enchanted Tiki Room ears and interchangeable bows. This is one of my favorite places to just hang out and people watch in the park, so after you get your ears, grab a kabob at the restaurant next door and do some people watching, or some Mickey Ears watching.
#3 Pieces of Eight - New Orleans SquareThe Pieces of Eight shop is near the exit for The Pirates of The Caribbean ride. This is the spot to be if you are a fan of the Pirates franchise. They have everything from swords to boots to pirate hats, and yes of course, pirate themed Mickey Ears.
#2 The Haunted Mansion KioskI am personally a big sucker for the Haunted Mansion. It is my favorite ride, my favorite building, my favorite line to wait in; it's my favorite everything. So it's no surprise that I'm also a big fan of the kiosk out front. It's chock full of all things haunted and spooky, and always has a great selection of Mickey Ears themed in both The Haunted Mansion styles and in Nightmare Before Christmas styles.
#1 The Mad Hatter - FantasylandAnd finally, the number one spot has to go to The Mad Hatter in Fantasyland. With a name like The Mad Hatter you know they are going to have an absolute abundance of headgear in all different styles. Like Main Street, this is one of the only places you can have your ears personalized, so If you have a busy day of Fast Passes and non-stop rides, this is the one shop I would recommend you squeeze in.
Bonus Tip! - Wait till dark! All of the outdoor kiosks switch their inventory when the sun goes down and the park really starts to take on a new life with glow in the dark and light up merchandise. If you are more of a night owl, it makes sense to wait until dark and pick up a pair of flashing or glowing ears. We hope you found this Disneyland Mickey Ears Buying Guide useful.
